In light of the COVID-19 outbreak, NEOGEN Genomics has implemented strict processes to ensure continued lab operations and to minimize risk of exposure. We know the work never ends for agricultural producers. NEOGEN is dedicated to providing the best service to customers and safe work environment for our employees and labs during this very difficult time.
Neogen® offers genomics services worldwide that deliver innovative, affordable DNA testing for the discovery and commercial application of genomic advances that enhance the safety and abundance of life. DNA testing services are provided for food, animals, aquaculture, agronomy, forestry and horticulture, as well as supporting the research institutions, breed associations and breeding companies serving these industries.
State-of-the-art genomics and bioinformatics, plus our work with leading scientists, drive Neogen's world leadership in DNA testing for food production, animal well-being and research.
Neogen has genomics laboratories in the United States, United Kingdom, Brazil, and Australia:
- United States. Neogen's Genomics operations — based in Lincoln, Nebraska — is rapidly expanding in the North American agricultural heartland. Expanded facilities have fueled growth in the volume and diversity of services in genotyping of animals, plants and microbes.
- United Kingdom. The company's Neogen Europe headquarters lab operations in Ayr, Scotland, provide a growing range of advanced genomics services for agricultural, livestock and food customers in Europe.
- Brazil. Deoxi™ Biotecnologia, a leading genomics laboratory in Brazil, is based in Araçatuba, São Paulo. Deoxi is situated in the world's largest cattle-producing country and is expanding Neogen services in South America.
- Australia. In September 2017, Neogen acquired the assets of The University of Queensland Animal Genetics Laboratory (AGL) — the leading animal genomics laboratory in Australia, a country with large cattle and sheep markets. With the acquisition, AGL was renamed Neogen Australasia, and became Neogen's fourth animal genomics laboratory. AGL has been the prominent supplier of genetic testing to all 27 of Australia's major beef cattle associations, and its services have also extended to dairy cattle, sheep, goats, alpacas and other species.
These labs are fully integrated and work together every day. The result is an organization that provides local companies with easy access to world-class genomics solutions while delivering worldwide reach and capacity for global enterprises.
